 Indication  

  • Antiemetic Gastrointestinal stimulant.
 Fetal Risk  

  • Not teratogenic or toxic in animals.
  • Crosses the placenta at term, not studied in other stages of pregnancy.
  • No adequate human data but suggested possible association with some congenital defects mainly hypoplasia of cerebral hemispheres.
 Breast Feeding  

  • Excreted into human milk.
  • It stimulate milk production.
  • Reported single case of intestinal discomfort in nursing infant exposed to the drug.
  • Should be used with caution and at doses of less than 45 mg/day.
