  • Composition: Vit. A, D3, E, B1, B2, B6, nicotinamide, C, sodium pantothenate.
  • Fetal Risk

  • The doses of Vit. B1, B2, B6, C, nicotinamide, sodium pantothenate are within the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • The dose of retinol and Vit. D3 are above the rda.
  • High doses of Vit. D3 may cause fetal supravalvular aortic stenosis syndrome and idiopathic hypercalcemia of infancy.
  • High dose of Vit. A are teratogenic causing craniofacial, musculoskeletal urinary, eye defects, facial palsy and gastrointestinal atresia.
  • Breast Feeding

  • The dose of Vit. D3 and A are above the rda in lactation.
  • High chronic doses of Vit. D can cause hypercalcemia in the nursing infant.
  • Unknown effects of high doses of Vit. A on exposed infants.
