  • The dose of Vit. B1, B2, niacin, B6, B12, C, E are above the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • Controversial association between high doses of Vit. B1, and anencephaly.
  • High doses of Vit. C is suggested to cause an encephaly and infantile convulsions: Aka Salaam attacaks. Rare form of epilepsy usually between 3 and 8 months of age. They are spasms or involuntary flexing of the whole upper body">infantile scurvy.
  • High doses of Vit. B6 may cause infantile convulsions: Aka Salaam attacaks. Rare form of epilepsy usually between 3 and 8 months of age. They are spasms or involuntary flexing of the whole upper body">infantile convulsions and phoemelia.

  • No data about the use of biotin in pregnancy.
