  • The doses of Vitamin B12, Folic acid and Vit C are above the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • No well-controlled human data but suggested possible association between high doses of Vit C and anencephaly and infants scurvy, and High doses of Folic acid may increase pregnancy complications as bleeding, fetal distress, prematurity and fetal death.
  • No fetal harm has been reported with high doses of Vit B12.

  • All vitamins are excreted into milk and above the (rda) in lactation except nicotinamide.
