  • Composition: VitA + B1 + B2 + B6 + B 12 + C + D3 + E + nicotinamide + calcium pantothenate.

  • The doses of Vit B1,B2,B6 and D3 are above the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • The doses of Vit A,B12,C,E, nicotinamide and calcium pantothenate are within the rda in pregnancy.
  • High doses of Vit D3 are teratogenic in animals. No adequate human data but reported association between high doses and supravalvular aortic stenosis syndrome and idiopathic hyper calcemia of infancy.
  • Suggested possible association between high doses of - Vit B1 and anencephly - Vit B6 and phocomelia and infantile convulsions.

  • All vitamins are excreted into milk.
  • The doses of Vit B1,B2,B6 and D3 are above the rda in lactation.
  • High doses of Vit D3 can cause hypercalcemia in nursing infants.
