  • No adequate data for Isopropamide in pregnancy, no association with congenital anomalies has been reported although parasympatholytic agents in general may cause minor malformations.
  • Ephedrine is teratogenic in animals. No adequate human data for sympathomimetic drugs in general, but there has been reported association with minor congenital anomalies, inguinal hernia and clubfoot if used in 1st trimester.
  • No data available for cinnarizine but use of antihistamines in the last two weeks of pregnancy may cause retrolental fibroplasia in premature infants.
