  • Composition: B1, B2, B6, B12, K1, niacinamide, folic acid, pantothenic acid, copper, zinc, chromium, selenium.

  • The dose of Vit A, D, zinc and pantothenic acid is within the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • The dose of Vit C, E, B1, B2, B6, B12, niacinamide and folic acid is above the rda in pregnancy.
  • No fetal adverse effects has been reported with high doses of vit B12, and E.
  • No well controlled human data but reported possible association between high doses of :
  • Vitamin c and anencephaly, infantile convulsions: Aka Salaam attacaks. Rare form of epilepsy usually between 3 and 8 months of age. They are spasms or involuntary flexing of the whole upper body">infantile scurvy.
  • Vit B6 and phocolemia, infantile convulsions: Aka Salaam attacaks. Rare form of epilepsy usually between 3 and 8 months of age. They are spasms or involuntary flexing of the whole upper body">infantile convulsions.
  • Vit B1 and anencephaly.
  • No data for chromium, cupper and selenium.
  • Vit K1 should not be used in 1st trimester because of possible association with cardiovascular defects and spina bifida.
