  • Composition: Vit A, D, B1, B2, B6, B12, nicotinamide (B3), calcium pantothenate, folic acid, C, E, choline bitratrate, dimethionine, inosoitol, calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper, iodine, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, potassium, zinc.

  • The doses of vit A, B6, calcium pantothenate, C, E, calcium, iodine, zinc are within the recommended dietary allowance (rda) in pregnancy.
  • The doses of Vit D, B1, B2, B12, nicotinamide and folic acid are above the (rda).
  • No data for calcium choline, dimethionine, insoitol, manganese, molybdenum in pregnancy.
  • Magnesium and calcium should not be used in 1st trimester because of potential teratogenicity.
  • They are safe in the last two trimesters.
  • Controversial association between high doses of Vit B1 and anencephaly.
  • High doses of Vit. D are possible causes of supravalvular aortic stenosis syndrome and idiopathic hypercalcemia of infancy.
